My daughter is 3 and my son will turn 5 in march. If someone tried to lay a hand on either of them they'd be thrown off a bridge. I can't understand how someone would do this to their own child.

I grew up around there and have been on it many times. One time a bunch of people all triedbto swing from the bridge and they all severely injured themselves. I can't fathom a kid being thrown from it.

a guy in Melbourne Australia threw his daughter off the Westgate bridge , sadly she too died , but he's in prison for a long time.

Now the news report I initially read stated "Deranged man throws daughter off bridge". But nobody ever really specifically mentioned if he truly is mentally ill in some fashion. There may have been some sensationalism going on here with American media. I'm not sure. I'm curious how this is going to play out. Especially since the guy waved his right to free counsel.
